This is my third haircut I’ve given myself since the Pandemic hit last March. I wanted to share this with all of you and wanted to put this up about three weeks ago. However, we are recent new grandparents; our 8th beautiful grandchild was born, (a girl), and every time our grandchildren are born we try to help out in any way we can. I hope this helps anyone who is still needing to cut their hair at home.
I am excited to share with you this card making video. If you love color, design, and a reason to send a card to lift someone’s spirits, this video is for you. I love making cards knowing someone will be happy receiving a card.
So happy to share my 25 minute total body workout with you. I feel so loosened up and ready for the day after I do this. Exercise is so important for the mind, mood, and body. So happy I started exercising fifteen years ago.
Please check with your Doctor if you are going to do these exercises.
I wish you much success with your fitness journey!
So happy to take the time to share with you how I lost 57 lbs. and ways I’ve tried to reduce my cholesterol for the last 15 years. I go into a lot of detail, share a few recipes with you and have a good “chat” about other stuff happening in my life. Come join me in my kitchen and have fun while trying to loose a few pounds.
I’m so excited to share with you my Fitness Journey. This is the first video of a three part series. Jan 20, 2020 I reached my goal weight. Covid hit last March and from then on I gained 5 lbs., (who didn’t?) however I lost those 5 lbs. and hit my goal weight Dec 19, 2020. I’m encouraged, inspired, and enthused to encourage all who are struggling with those cholesterol numbers. Please share this with a friend if they are struggling also. Because of Covid, I also couldn’t share these videos with you due to my oldest daughter and I not being able to get together to film my last video, sharing my exercise total body work out with you. I have decided it’s time to do these videos and Tom, my husband and I will film that video. Besides loving art, crafting, nature, cooking, God and family, I love thinking of all things healthy and sharing this with you is a long time coming.
All year I put my small strips of ribbon in this box, then I either save the ribbons to put on my cards and use on other projects or I make small bows out of them for cards, sentiments, or projects like making trinket boxes, etc. I had a container stored I was going to use for my bead making, but since I plan to do that next year, I am going to use the container for my bows, I can even put them by color.
I love using my basket full of ribbon, but after a whole year of using the ribbon, it really needs to be put in a nice order. After straightening out the ribbon, I can see the ribbon so much better and can easily see what I want to grab for many projects.
I love to also get all my scraps in order I use to make my “crafty” cards in order the beginning of January. This year I am going to organize this a little better, since I know I am going to dive into this bend making a lot of sentiments instead of cards. I have made many original Watercolor designs Tom prints for my cards that I can use instead and am excited I have decided to use my scraps for making sentiments going forward. This year I am still going to make some cards though since awhile ago I had put some of my scrap designs in this bend to make cards. I will be excited to show you probably sometime in February my completed cards, sentiments, and how I organized everything.
I also like to make Watercolor bookmarks made from all the paper scraps I had accumulated all year. The six papers you see in front I cut will turn into bookmarks like the six bookmarks standing in back.
Organization, I love to organize. It inspires me to use my materials and get creating! Do you also like to organize your craft room or Art Studio?
Our last week of the season making Christmas tags. This will give us 25! So happy I did this again this year, this is so fun for me and hope you have gotten some ideas for your tags if you make them. Gingerbread men are so fun as tags for your gift bags. I think my grandchildren will enjoy these. Christmas is less than two weeks away.
I love sparkly Christmas ornaments and this tag is definitely that. Christmas bags and gift wrap come in all colors and this silver/teal tag I will show you how to make would look so pretty with your silver, teal, or bags with snowflakes on them. Hope you are getting in the Christmas spirit to spread a little joy this Holiday.
Making these Christmas Tags is so much fun. It really puts me in the Christmas mood. I love Christmas and thinking about how this year we can still exchange gifts (social distance style) brings me so much joy. These tags will bring someone happiness to receive such a sweet tag.
I show you how to make little peppermint candies and tell you other ways to make this tag if you don’t have the same kind of materials I do.
I love the way you can get the look of gold without having to emboss, especially making more than one at a time, it saves a lot of time. I’m so happy to share how I got my design idea with you and also share where I store my gift tags. Where do you store your gift tags?
I look forward to next week when I can show you part 3 of our 5 part series of “25 Tags Till Christmas”.
