Vicki Achard, founder of Nature’s Best Art, creates inspiring Watercolor designs using professional watercolor paints and archival Arches watercolor paper. Limited edition prints are offered of some of her animal designs – perfect for the newborn’s nursery or for any child’s room.
Vicki has also created over 100 designs using pressed flowers grown and pressed from her garden. They are so unique and make beautiful décor for your home or office and would be wonderful for hospitals, nursing homes, and doctor’s offices. Each design is printed on an Epson printer using archival, cotton paper and pigment ink for lasting beauty. Her pressed floral designs are listed on her Pressed Floral Art Gallery.
Creating Pressed Floral designs – since 1995 – and Watercolor Art – since 2015 – has brought her and those who have her work so much joy. “My love of both media and my art journey has been quite an adventure. Working with my husband Tom since 1998 has been an incredible rewarding experience. Tom was an Engineer for 32 years. He continually surprises me, learning such important work for our business as; matting and framing the art work, printing, making the products I create, and now learning all he can about social media.”
Vicki loves developing new product with Tom. Her newest products are 5 x 7 Watercolor Greeting cards, 5 x 7 Original Handmade Greeting cards, and 4¼ x 5½ Thank-you cards. She is developing a “Let’s Paint” series on her Artist Blog and YouTube Channel where she teaches how to paint in watercolor. She also is developing a “Make a Card with Vicki” series, also on those social media platforms, showing how she turns scrapes from her pressed floral decorative art collection into beautiful cards. “There is no end how I can share my love of nature, color, and design. Creating and sharing serenity, beauty, and hope is something I enjoy very much. I am excited about the future and can’t wait to share my next product with you.”
