Hello Everyone – Happy 4th of July! The flowers on my photo looked like firecrackers. I thought this would make a nice painting on a watercolor card to send someone around the 4th of July.
I had fun mixing colors to get the colors I want using my color chart – something that has saved me lots of time! I have lots more photos from my trips and also subjects just around the house. Painting is so fun, rewarding, and challenging all at the same time!

Hello Everyone, Everyday I count my blessings. I am so happy to bring you another Let’s Paint time. Nature is so beautiful in so many ways, and for me orchids are on top of that list.
This is a little more challenging painting, but so rewarding when it is complete. I am finding that if I make mistakes when painting, I keep learning. If I keep learning the skills and techniques to get me the final results I want, I will become a better painter. So, the message is – keep trying – make mistakes and keep learning. Hope you enjoy this video.
